Diane 35 Tablets (21 pack) from Bayer combine cyproterone acetate 2mg with ethinylestradiol 35mcg, prescribed for women with androgen-related conditions. Moderate to severe acne that resists other treatment, excess facial or body hair (hirsutism), and oily skin. While also providing reliable contraception. Cyproterone blocks the male-hormone activity that drives breakouts and unwanted hair, so skin typically clears progressively over several cycles. A well-established option for women whose acne or PCOS-related symptoms need hormonal treatment under medical supervision.

Cyproterone acetate 2mg with ethinylestradiol 35mcg per coated tablet. Contains lactose and sucrose.

Directions for Use

This is a prescription medicine. Take only as directed by your doctor. One tablet daily at the same time for 21 days, followed by a 7-day tablet-free break during which a withdrawal bleed occurs, then start the next pack. Take consistently for full contraceptive cover; if a pill is more than 12 hours late, follow the missed-pill instructions in the leaflet and use condoms for 7 days. Skin benefits build over 3-6 cycles.

Do not use in pregnancy or while breastfeeding, with a history of blood clots, stroke, certain migraines, breast cancer, severe liver disease, or uncontrolled hypertension. Combined hormonal treatment slightly raises clot risk, and smoking over age 35 increases it further. Stop and seek urgent care for leg swelling, chest pain, breathlessness or sudden severe headache. Effectiveness is reduced by rifampicin, some epilepsy medicines and prolonged vomiting/diarrhoea. Attend regular blood pressure checks. Store below 30°C.
