Diclo-Denk 100mg Suppositories (10 pack) deliver diclofenac, a proven non-steroidal anti-inflammatory (NSAID), via the rectal route. Ideal when tablets are unsuitable due to vomiting, swallowing difficulty, post-operative fasting or severe stomach sensitivity. The suppository relieves moderate to severe pain and inflammation in arthritis flare-ups, acute gout, renal colic, post-surgical and dental pain, and severe period pain, with absorption that bypasses the upper stomach. Directions for Use

This is a prescription medicine. Use only as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. The usual adult dose is one 100mg suppository once daily (maximum total diclofenac from all routes 150mg/day). Empty the bowels if possible, unwrap the suppository, and insert pointed end first well into the rectum while lying on your side. Remain lying for a few minutes. Use the lowest effective dose for the shortest time.

Do not use with active stomach or bowel ulcers, rectal bleeding or proctitis, severe heart, liver or kidney disease, in the third trimester of pregnancy, or with aspirin/NSAID allergy. Cardiovascular and stomach risks apply to all routes. Use cautiously in hypertension, heart disease and the elderly. Avoid combining with other NSAIDs, blood thinners or steroids unless advised.
