Emitino 4mg Tablets (10 pack) contain ondansetron in a convenient orally disintegrating form that melts on the tongue. No water needed, ideal for patients already battling nausea. Ondansetron blocks serotonin's trigger signal for vomiting, preventing and treating the nausea and vomiting caused by chemotherapy, radiotherapy and surgery. The melt-in-mouth format means the dose stays down even when swallowing tablets feels impossible, giving cancer patients and post-operative patients dependable, fast-acting relief.

Directions for Use

This is a prescription medicine. Take only as directed by your doctor. Commonly one 4-8mg dose before chemotherapy, radiotherapy or surgery, repeated as prescribed for up to 5 days. With dry hands, place the tablet on the tongue, let it dissolve and swallow with saliva; water is not required. If vomiting occurs within an hour of a dose, ask your care team whether to repeat it.

Do not use with apomorphine. May prolong the heart's QT interval. Caution with heart rhythm disorders, low potassium or magnesium, and other QT-prolonging medicines. Constipation and headache are common; report any swelling, rash or breathing difficulty immediately. Use cautiously in liver impairment (daily maximums apply) and bowel obstruction.
