Enterogermina Probiotic (10 single-dose vials) from Sanofi is the world's best-known probiotic in ready-to-drink vial form, containing billions of spores of Bacillus clausii. These hardy beneficial spores survive stomach acid, reach the intestine and multiply to restore the natural balance of gut bacteria disturbed by diarrhoea, antibiotic treatment, infections or dietary upsets. Enterogermina is used to manage and prevent diarrhoea and support digestive and immune health in both adults and children. A gentle, drinkable gut-flora rescue trusted by families and travellers.

Spores of Bacillus clausii (poly-antibiotic-resistant strains) 2 billion per 5ml vial, in purified water suspension.

Directions for Use

Shake the vial well, twist off the cap and drink the contents directly, or mix into water, milk or juice. Adults: 2-3 vials daily; children: 1-2 vials daily, or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. Take at regular intervals, and if you are on antibiotics, take Enterogermina between antibiotic doses. Use within the period advised once opened. Each vial is single-use. Seek medical care for diarrhoea with high fever, blood, or signs of dehydration, especially in young children.

Diarrhoea in infants and young children can become serious quickly. Maintain fluids (use oral rehydration solution) and see a doctor if symptoms last more than 24-48 hours, or sooner with fever, blood in stool or dehydration. Do not use if allergic to any component, or in people with severely weakened immune systems except on medical advice. Probiotics complement, not replace, rehydration and prescribed treatment.
