Directions for Use

This is a prescription medicine. Take one tablet daily at about the same time for 21 days, following the arrows on the pack, then have a 7-day break during which a period-like bleed occurs; start the next pack on day 8 even if still bleeding. If a pill is more than 12 hours late, follow the leaflet's missed-pill rules and use condoms for 7 days. Vomiting within 3-4 hours of a dose counts as a missed pill.

Do not use with a history of blood clots, stroke or heart attack, migraine with aura, breast cancer, severe liver disease, uncontrolled hypertension, or in pregnancy, and smoking over age 35 sharply raises clot risk. Stop and seek urgent care for leg pain/swelling, chest pain, breathlessness or sudden severe headache. Drospirenone can raise potassium. Caution with kidney problems and potassium-sparing medicines.
