Overview

Flexilor-SR 16mg Tablets (100 pack) contain lornoxicam in a sustained-release (SR) form, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory (NSAID) for pain and inflammation. Lornoxicam reduces the body chemicals that cause pain, swelling and stiffness, easing musculoskeletal and joint conditions such as back pain, osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis, and other moderate pain. The sustained-release tablet releases the medicine steadily for longer-lasting relief with less frequent dosing. The 16mg SR strength is a once-daily option. Directions for Use

This is a prescription medicine. Take only as directed by your doctor. Usually one sustained-release tablet once daily, swallowed whole (do not crush or chew) with water, with or after food to protect the stomach. Use the lowest effective dose for the shortest time needed, and tell your doctor if pain is not controlled. Do not take other NSAIDs at the same time.

Because it is an NSAID, take it with food and avoid if you have a stomach ulcer or have had stomach bleeding. Tell your doctor about heart disease, high blood pressure, kidney or liver problems, or asthma (NSAIDs can trigger wheeze in some people). Avoid alcohol excess, and do not combine with other anti-inflammatories. Not recommended in late pregnancy; use earlier in pregnancy or breastfeeding only on advice.
