Overview
Glucomet N Film-Coated Tablets combine two proven diabetes medicines. Glibenclamide 5mg and metformin 500mg. In one convenient tablet for type 2 diabetes that is not adequately controlled by a single medicine. Glibenclamide (a sulphonylurea) stimulates the pancreas to release more insulin, while metformin reduces glucose production in the liver and improves the body's response to insulin. This dual action gives stronger blood sugar control with fewer tablets to remember. Helpful for people managing diabetes long term. Glucomet N is used together with a healthy diet and regular exercise (28 tablets per pack).
Glibenclamide 5mg + Metformin hydrochloride 500mg per film-coated tablet.
