Overview

Halovate Cream 15g contains halobetasol propionate 0.05%, a super-potent topical corticosteroid for short-term treatment of severe, steroid-responsive skin conditions. Including resistant psoriasis plaques, lichen planus and severe eczema. When weaker steroids have failed. Among the strongest topical steroids available, it rapidly calms intense inflammation under strict medical direction.

Directions for Use

This is a prescription medicine. Take only as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. Apply a thin film to the affected areas only, once or twice daily exactly as prescribed, rubbing in gently. Courses are strictly short (typically no more than 2 weeks) with limited weekly amounts. Follow your doctor's limits precisely. Wash hands after use. Do not cover with airtight dressings unless directed.

Never use on the face, groin, armpits or broken skin unless specifically directed. Prolonged or excessive use thins the skin, causes stretch marks and can suppress the body's own steroids. Respect course limits strictly. Not for use on infected skin without concurrent treatment, and not recommended in children or during pregnancy without specialist advice. Do not stop abruptly after prolonged use on large areas. Rebound flares can occur. Report worsening, spreading or non-healing skin promptly.
