Aerinaze 2.5/120mg Tablets (14 pack) combine desloratadine 2.5mg, a modern non-drowsy antihistamine, with pseudoephedrine 120mg, an effective oral decongestant, for seasonal allergic rhinitis with a badly blocked nose. The antihistamine stops the sneezing, itching and runny nose while pseudoephedrine shrinks swollen nasal passages so you can actually breathe. Relief that antihistamines alone often cannot deliver. The extended-release design gives lasting twice-daily coverage for people whose allergies come with stubborn congestion.

Desloratadine 2.5mg (immediate release) with pseudoephedrine sulphate 120mg (extended release) per tablet.

Directions for Use

This is a prescription medicine. Take only as directed. Usually one tablet twice daily (morning and evening), swallowed whole with water, with or without food. Do not crush or chew. Avoid taking the evening dose close to bedtime if it disturbs sleep. Use for the shortest period needed to control symptoms. Typically up to 10 days for congestion.

Do not use with severe hypertension, heart disease, uncontrolled glaucoma, urinary retention, hyperthyroidism, or MAOI antidepressants (or within 14 days of stopping one). Pseudoephedrine can raise blood pressure and heart rate and cause insomnia or restlessness. Caution in diabetics and prostate enlargement. Not recommended in pregnancy or breastfeeding. Do not combine with other decongestants or stimulants. Stop and seek care for severe headache or sudden hypertension. Store below 30°C.
