Azmasol HFA Inhaler (200 doses) contains salbutamol, a fast-acting reliever bronchodilator for asthma and other wheezy breathing conditions. When breathed in, salbutamol quickly relaxes the tight muscles around the airways, opening them up within minutes to relieve wheeze, chest tightness, cough and breathlessness during an asthma flare. It is the classic 'blue' reliever inhaler, used as needed when symptoms strike or before exercise. Fast, effective and portable, Azmasol is an essential rescue inhaler for people with asthma to keep with them at all times.

Directions for Use

Use as directed by your doctor. Typically one to two puffs when you get symptoms such as wheeze or breathlessness, or before exercise if advised. Shake the inhaler, breathe out, then press and breathe in slowly and deeply, holding your breath for about 10 seconds; a spacer helps delivery. If symptoms do not ease after the usual dose, or you need it more and more often, seek medical help. This signals your asthma is not controlled.

This is a reliever, not a preventer. Needing it three or more times a week, or it working less well, means your asthma control should be reviewed urgently. Seek emergency help for a severe attack not relieved by your inhaler. May cause a brief faster heartbeat, tremor or headache. Tell your doctor about heart problems, overactive thyroid, diabetes or low potassium. Use in pregnancy or breastfeeding as advised. Store below 30°C; do not puncture or burn the canister.
