Overview

Irnazin 5mg Tablets (10 pack) contain levocetirizine, a non-drowsy (second-generation) antihistamine used to relieve allergy symptoms. It is used for allergic rhinitis (hay fever and year-round nasal allergies) and for itchy skin conditions such as hives (urticaria). Levocetirizine works by blocking histamine, the body chemical that causes sneezing, a runny or itchy nose, watery eyes and itchy skin, giving effective relief that lasts through the day. Directions for Use

Take as directed. Usually one tablet (5mg) once a day for adults and children over 6, swallowed with water, with or without food. Taking it in the evening can suit some people. Use it only while you have symptoms, or for the period your doctor advises for ongoing allergies. Do not take more than the recommended dose, as this does not improve relief and increases side effects.

Usually non-drowsy, but it can make some people sleepy. See how it affects you before driving or operating machinery, and avoid alcohol, which adds to any drowsiness.
