Montiget 10mg Tablets from Getz Pharma contain montelukast, a leukotriene receptor antagonist taken once daily to prevent asthma symptoms and relieve allergic rhinitis (hay fever). Montelukast blocks leukotrienes. The inflammatory chemicals that tighten airways and drive allergy symptoms. Reducing wheeze, cough, chest tightness, sneezing and blocked nose. It is a preventer for long-term control, not a reliever for sudden attacks. The convenient evening tablet suits adults and adolescents managing asthma or persistent allergies alongside their inhalers (14 tablets).

Directions for Use
This is a prescription medicine. Take only as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. The usual adult dose is one 10mg tablet once daily, taken in the evening, with or without food. Keep taking it every day, even when symptom-free. Protection comes from regular use. Do not use Montiget to treat a sudden asthma attack; always keep your reliever inhaler with you, and keep taking your other asthma medicines unless your doctor changes them.
Tell your doctor promptly about mood or behaviour changes. Agitation, sleep disturbance, anxiety or depression have been reported rarely with montelukast. Seek urgent care for worsening breathing despite treatment. Not a substitute for inhaled steroids unless your doctor advises. Tell your doctor if you are pregnant, planning pregnancy or breastfeeding. Headache, abdominal pain and thirst are occasional side effects. Store below 30°C protected from moisture and light.
