Piriton Syrup contains chlorphenamine maleate 2mg/5ml, the trusted antihistamine that has relieved allergies for generations. Directions for Use

Use the measuring cup or spoon provided and follow the age-based dosing on the packaging. Typically children 6-12 years: 5ml every 4-6 hours; adults and children over 12: 10ml every 4-6 hours. Do not exceed the stated maximum doses in 24 hours. For children under 6, use only as directed by a doctor or pharmacist. May be taken with or without food.

Causes drowsiness. Do not drive or operate machinery after taking, and avoid alcohol. Do not combine with other antihistamines or sedating medicines. Use with caution in glaucoma, prostate enlargement, epilepsy and liver disease. Not for premature infants or neonates. Severe allergic reactions (facial swelling, difficulty breathing) need emergency care. Not just an antihistamine. Check with your doctor before use in pregnancy or while breastfeeding.
