Overview
Ferosorb is an iron supplement used to prevent and treat iron-deficiency anaemia. The tiredness, paleness, breathlessness and poor concentration that come from low iron stores. It typically provides an easily absorbed form of iron, often with folic acid and supporting nutrients that work together to make healthy red blood cells. Iron is the key building block of haemoglobin, the part of red blood cells that carries oxygen around the body. Taken regularly, Ferosorb helps rebuild iron stores and restore energy. A trusted iron supplement helping people. Including during pregnancy and growth. Maintain healthy iron levels. Confirm exact composition on the pack.

Iron supplement. Typically an absorbable iron salt, often with folic acid. Confirm exact composition and elemental iron content on the product packaging.

Directions for Use
Take only as directed on the label or by your doctor. Commonly one dose daily, with water, preferably on an empty stomach or as the label advises; if it upsets your stomach, take it with a little food. Taking it with a vitamin-C-rich drink (such as orange juice) improves iron absorption, while tea, coffee, milk and antacids reduce it. Separate these by a couple of hours. Continue for the period advised, as rebuilding iron stores takes weeks to months.

Iron can cause stomach upset, constipation or dark stools. This is harmless. Take only the dose advised; too much iron is harmful, and iron supplements are a leading cause of accidental poisoning in children, so keep them well out of reach. Tell your doctor about stomach ulcers, bowel conditions or repeated blood transfusions. Have anaemia properly diagnosed rather than self-treating long-term. Use in pregnancy as advised. Store below 30°C. This product information is for general guidance only and does not replace professional medical advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider before starting any new medication or supplement. Keep out of reach of children. Accidental iron overdose in children can be dangerous.
