Aspirin-Cardio 100mg Tablets (30 pack) are Bayer's low-dose, enteric-coated aspirin for daily heart protection. At this cardio dose, aspirin thins the blood by stopping platelets from clumping, reducing the risk of heart attack and stroke in people with established cardiovascular disease, previous heart events, stents or bypass surgery. The gastro-resistant coating releases the medicine beyond the stomach for gentler daily use. A cornerstone of cardiovascular prevention prescribed to thousands of people living with heart disease, diabetes-related risk and hypertension complications.

Directions for Use

Use as directed by your doctor for heart protection. Usually one 100mg tablet once daily, taken at the same time each day with food and a full glass of water. Swallow whole; do not crush or chew the coated tablet. Take every day without breaks. Protection depends on continuous use. Do not stop before surgery or dental work unless your doctor instructs.

Daily aspirin should be doctor-recommended. It is not for everyone. Avoid with active stomach ulcers, bleeding disorders, severe asthma triggered by aspirin, or allergy to NSAIDs. Seek urgent care for black stools or vomiting blood. Caution with warfarin, other blood thinners, NSAIDs and methotrexate. Not for under-16s (Reye's syndrome risk) and avoid in the third trimester of pregnancy. Limit alcohol. Store below 30°C in a dry place.
