Norplat-S 75mg Tablets (10 pack) contain clopidogrel, an antiplatelet medicine prescribed to keep blood flowing smoothly in people at risk of heart attack and stroke. Clopidogrel stops platelets from clumping into dangerous clots, protecting patients after a heart attack, stroke or stent procedure, and those with peripheral arterial disease. Directions for Use

This is a prescription medicine. Take only as directed by your doctor. Usually one 75mg tablet once daily, at the same time each day, with or without food. Do not skip or stop doses without medical advice, especially after a stent. Stopping early can be dangerous. Tell every doctor, dentist or surgeon you see that you take clopidogrel before any procedure.

Increases bleeding tendency. Expect easier bruising; seek urgent care for black stools, blood in urine or vomit, or bleeding that will not stop. Avoid with active bleeding or stomach ulcers, and use cautiously with aspirin, warfarin, NSAIDs and omeprazole (which can reduce clopidogrel's effect. Ask about alternatives). Usually stopped 5-7 days before surgery only on a doctor's instruction. Use in pregnancy and breastfeeding only if clearly needed. Store below 30°C.
