Directions for Use
This is a prescription medicine. It is given as an injection just under the skin (usually into the tummy area), at the dose and for the length of time your doctor decides. It may be given by a nurse, or you may be shown how to inject it yourself at home using the pre-filled syringe. Rotate sides with each dose and do not rub the area afterwards. Do not stop early without advice. Attend any blood tests your doctor arranges.
Because it thins the blood, the main risk is bleeding. Report unusual bruising, nosebleeds, blood in urine or stools, black stools, or prolonged bleeding promptly. Tell your doctor about recent surgery, ulcers, kidney problems, low platelets, or all other medicines, especially other blood thinners, aspirin or NSAID painkillers. Tell any doctor or dentist that you use it before procedures. Use in pregnancy only as directed. Store below 25°C; do not freeze. This product information is for general guidance only and does not replace professional medical advice. Keep all medicines out of reach of children.
