Febutas 40mg (febuxostat) is a prescription medicine used to lower high uric acid levels in the blood, mainly to prevent gout attacks in people with gout. Directions for Use

This is a prescription medicine. Gout flares can temporarily increase when first starting. Do not stop the medicine; your doctor manages this with additional treatment. Tell your doctor about heart disease, liver or kidney problems, and report any rash (rarely, serious skin or hypersensitivity reactions can occur. Stop and seek care).
