Overview
Gabix 300mg Capsules (10 pack) contain gabapentin, a prescription medicine for nerve (neuropathic) pain and epilepsy. Gabapentin calms overactive nerve signalling, easing the burning, shooting or electric-shock pains of diabetic neuropathy, shingles aftermath (post-herpetic neuralgia) and other nerve injuries, and is also used with other medicines to control partial seizures. For the many people living with diabetes-related nerve pain, Gabix offers steady, well-established relief when ordinary painkillers cannot reach the source.
Gabapentin 300mg per capsule.
Directions for Use
This is a prescription medicine. Take only as directed by your doctor. Treatment usually starts low (often 300mg at night) and is increased gradually over days to the dose that controls your pain or seizures. Swallow capsules whole with water, with or without food, spacing doses evenly. Do not stop suddenly. The dose must be tapered to avoid withdrawal effects or seizure rebound.
Causes drowsiness and dizziness, especially at first. Do not drive until you know your response, and avoid alcohol. Caution with kidney impairment (dose adjustment needed), in the elderly, and with opioids or sedatives. The combination depresses breathing. Report mood changes or unusual thoughts. Separate from antacids by 2 hours. Use in pregnancy and breastfeeding only on specialist advice. Do not stop epilepsy treatment abruptly. Store below 30°C. This product information is for general guidance only and does not replace professional medical advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider before starting any new medication or supplement. Keep all medicines out of reach of children.
