Lamitor 100 mg tablets contain Lamotrigine 100 mg used in the treatment of seizures and mania. It is an antiepileptic medication. It controls seizures or fits by decreasing the abnormal and excessive activity of the nerve cells in the brain.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Lamitor 100 mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Lamotrigine may cause excessive drowsiness and calmness with alcohol. It may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Lamitor should be used with caution in patients with kidney and liver disease. Dose adjustment may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
