Overview
Mucosolvan liquid contains Ambroxol hydrochloride 15mg/5ml. It is used for secretolytic treatment of acute and chronic diseases of the bronchi and lungs flowing with abnormal bronchial secretion and impaired transport of mucus (phlegm).
Directions for Use
Adults : 10ml 2-3 times daily. Children 6-12 years: 5 ml 2-3 times daily. Children from 2-6 years: 2.5 ml 3 times daily. Not recommended for than 5 days unless under a doctor prescription.
Administration of ambroxol together with antibiotics (amoxicillin, cefuroxime, erythromycin, doxycycline) leads to a higher concentration of the antibiotic in the bronchial secretions and saliva.
