Directions for Use

Adults and children over 12: take 10ml three times daily, or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. Measure with the cup provided and take after meals with plenty of fluids. Good hydration helps the medicine thin mucus. Do not combine with cough suppressants, which trap loosened phlegm. See a doctor if the cough lasts beyond a week or comes with high fever or breathlessness.

Use with caution in stomach ulcer disease and severe kidney or liver impairment. Rare but serious skin reactions are recognised with ambroxol. Stop at the first sign of rash or blistering and seek care. Consult a doctor before use in pregnancy (especially the first trimester) or breastfeeding. Mild nausea or stomach upset can occur.
