Strepsils Extra Strength Blackcurrant Lozenges (24 pack) deliver Strepsils' strongest sore throat relief, powered by hexylresorcinol 2.4mg. An antiseptic with local anaesthetic action that numbs throat pain on contact while fighting the bacteria that can worsen it. The soothing blackcurrant lozenge coats and lubricates a raw, scratchy throat as it dissolves, easing painful swallowing for hours. When a sore throat is too painful for regular lozenges, Strepsils Extra gives adults and older children fast, dependable numbing relief through cold and flu season.

Directions for Use

Adults and children over 12: dissolve one lozenge slowly in the mouth every 2-3 hours as needed. Do not exceed 8 lozenges in 24 hours. Do not chew or swallow whole. The lozenge works as it dissolves. See a doctor if the sore throat is severe, lasts more than 3 days, or comes with high fever, difficulty breathing or swallowing.

Not for children under 12. The local anaesthetic effect may temporarily numb the mouth. Take care with hot food and drinks. Contains sugar. Diabetics should account for this. Consult a doctor before use in pregnancy or breastfeeding. A severe sore throat with drooling, muffled voice or breathing difficulty is an emergency.
