Nicorette FruitFusion Gum 4mg (105 pieces) is the higher-strength quit-smoking gum for heavier smokers. Those who smoke more than 20 cigarettes a day or light up within 30 minutes of waking. Each piece delivers 4mg of therapeutic nicotine through the mouth's lining to blunt cravings and withdrawal symptoms (irritability, poor concentration, restlessness) while you stop smoking, in a refreshing fruity flavour. Used as part of a structured quit plan, Nicorette significantly improves quit rates compared with stopping unaided.

Nicotine (as resinate) 4mg per piece of medicated chewing gum; fruit flavour. Full excipients on packaging.

Directions for Use

Chew one piece slowly until the taste is strong, then park it between cheek and gum; resume chewing when the taste fades, for about 30 minutes per piece. Use 8-12 pieces daily initially. Do not exceed 15 pieces in 24 hours. Step down to the 2mg gum and reduce gradually over about 12 weeks. Avoid acidic drinks 15 minutes before use.

For smokers of more than 20 cigarettes daily; the 4mg strength can cause nausea in lighter smokers. Use 2mg instead. Not for under-18s except on medical advice. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should seek guidance before use. Caution after recent heart attack, with serious arrhythmias, stroke or uncontrolled hypertension, and with diabetes (monitor sugars when quitting). Do not smoke while using.
