Nicorette FreshMint Gum 4mg (105 pieces) is the stronger freshmint quit-smoking gum for heavily dependent smokers. Over 20 cigarettes a day or a first cigarette within 30 minutes of waking. Each piece releases 4mg of medicinal nicotine through the mouth to quickly settle cravings and withdrawal so you can function normally while breaking the habit, leaving cool mint freshness instead of cigarette breath. Directions for Use

Chew slowly until the taste is strong, park the gum between cheek and gums, then chew again when the taste fades. Roughly 30 minutes per piece. Start with 8-12 pieces daily; do not exceed 15 pieces in 24 hours. After 6-8 weeks, step down to 2mg gum and taper off over about 3 months. Avoid acidic drinks 15 minutes beforehand.

The 4mg strength is for heavier smokers. Lighter smokers may experience nausea, palpitations or dizziness and should use 2mg.
