Directions for Use

This is a prescription medicine. Dosage is determined by your prescribing doctor based on your individual needs. Do not adjust your dose without medical supervision. Inject subcutaneously as prescribed, typically about 30 minutes before meals, rotating injection sites. Doses are individual and adjusted by your doctor based on blood sugar, food and activity. Hypoglycaemia (low blood sugar) is the main risk. Learn the warning signs (sweating, shakiness, hunger, confusion, palpitations), always carry fast-acting sugar, and never skip meals after dosing. Risk rises with too much insulin, missed meals, extra activity and alcohol. Monitor blood glucose as advised. Tell your doctor about illness, other medicines and pregnancy. Insulin needs change. Do not use if the solution is cloudy or discoloured (regular insulin should be clear). Never stop insulin without medical advice.
