Dapamet XR 10/1000mg is a prescription combination medicine for type 2 diabetes, containing dapagliflozin and extended-release metformin. Directions for Use

This is a prescription medicine. Tell your doctor about kidney or liver problems. Metformin is not suitable in significant kidney impairment. Stop and seek urgent care for signs of lactic acidosis (rare): rapid breathing, severe weakness, muscle pain or feeling very cold; or ketoacidosis (nausea, vomiting, drowsiness). May cause genital/urinary infections and dehydration. Metformin should be paused around contrast-dye scans or serious illness. Limit alcohol. Avoid in pregnancy/breastfeeding unless advised.
