Diamicron MR contains Gliclazide 60 mg it is used in the treatment of type 2 diabetes (Anti-diabetic). It is used in addition to diet and exercise to improve blood sugar control in adults with type 2 diabetes. It works by increasing the amount of insulin released by the pancreas in order to lower the blood glucose.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Diamicron MR 60 mg Tablet is to be taken with food.
Alcohol intake may increase or decrease the blood sugar lowering action in an unpredictable way. Diamicron Mr 60 mg should be used with caution in patients with liver and kidney disease.Dose adjustment may be required.
