Directions for Use

Stop and seek urgent care for vomiting, rapid breathing, severe weakness or marked muscle pain (rare lactic acidosis). On its own it rarely causes low blood sugar, but the risk rises with insulin or a sulfonylurea. Long-term use can lower vitamin B12. Avoid excess alcohol.
