Overview

Oculast Eye Drops (5ml) contain olopatadine, an anti-allergy eye drop that relieves the itching, redness and watering of allergic conjunctivitis. Olopatadine works in two ways. It blocks histamine (the chemical that causes allergy symptoms) and helps stop the eye's allergy cells releasing more of it. Giving fast and lasting relief from allergic eye irritation caused by dust, pollen, pet dander and other triggers. Soothing and convenient, Oculast is a trusted option for people whose eyes become itchy, red and watery during allergy seasons or on exposure to allergens. Confirm strength on the pack.

Active: Olopatadine 0.1% (1mg/ml, as hydrochloride). Preservative: benzalkonium chloride. Confirm strength on packaging.

Directions for Use

This is a prescription medicine. Use only as directed by your doctor. Commonly one drop into each affected eye once or twice daily. Wash your hands, tilt your head back, pull down the lower lid and instil the drop without touching the dropper tip to the eye. Blink gently and press the inner corner of the eye briefly. If you wear contact lenses, remove them before use and wait about 10-15 minutes before reinserting.

For use in the eye only. Do not use while an eye infection is present without medical advice. Vision may blur briefly after instilling. Wait before driving. Tell your doctor if redness, pain or vision changes develop, or if symptoms do not improve. Remove contact lenses before use. Discard 28 days after opening; do not share the bottle.
