Patanol 0.1% Eye Drops (5ml) from Alcon contain olopatadine, an anti-allergy eye drop that both blocks histamine and calms the cells that release it. It is used to relieve the itching, redness, watering and swelling of allergic conjunctivitis. The eye allergy triggered by pollen, dust and animal dander. Patanol works quickly to ease itching and keeps symptoms at bay with twice-daily use, making allergy season far more comfortable. Directions for Use

This is a prescription medicine. Use only as directed by your doctor. Usually one drop into each affected eye twice a day, about 6 to 8 hours apart. Wash your hands, tilt your head back, pull down the lower lid and instil the drop without touching the dropper tip to the eye. Blink gently. If using other eye drops too, wait about 5 minutes between them. Keep using it regularly during the allergy season for steady relief.

Remove contact lenses before use and wait at least 10 minutes before reinserting; do not wear lenses if your eyes are red. Vision may blur briefly after instilling. Wait before driving. See a doctor for eye pain, marked vision changes or discharge, which need assessment. Discard 28 days after opening; do not share the bottle. Use in pregnancy or breastfeeding only on medical advice.
