Overview

Ganfort Eye Drops 3ml combine bimatoprost 0.03% and timolol 0.5%. Two complementary pressure-lowering medicines in one drop. For glaucoma and ocular hypertension not controlled by a single agent. Bimatoprost boosts fluid outflow from the eye while timolol cuts fluid production, together delivering powerful eye-pressure reduction that protects the optic nerve from progressive, irreversible vision loss. From Allergan, Ganfort simplifies intensive glaucoma treatment for patients into one convenient once-daily drop, improving adherence where multiple bottles often fail.

Bimatoprost 0.3mg/ml and timolol (as maleate) 5mg/ml ophthalmic solution. Contains benzalkonium chloride as preservative.

Directions for Use

This is a prescription medicine. Use only as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. The usual dose is one drop in the affected eye(s) once daily, in the morning or evening at a consistent time. After instilling, press gently on the inner corner of the eye for a minute to reduce absorption into the body. Do not exceed one dose daily. Space other drops by 5 minutes. Discard 28 days after opening.

Contains a beta-blocker: do not use with asthma, severe COPD, slow heart rhythm, heart block or uncontrolled heart failure. May darken iris and eyelid skin and lengthen lashes (bimatoprost effect). Tell your doctor about heart, blood pressure and diabetes medicines. Timolol can mask low-sugar symptoms. Remove soft contact lenses before use; reinsert after 15 minutes. Report breathlessness, slow pulse or eye inflammation promptly. Use in pregnancy only on medical advice. Store below 25°C.
