This medicine should not be used if bleeding is evident or even suspected. Mechanical obstruction of stomach: Report any incidence indicating intestinal blockage like severe bloating, nausea, vomiting, severe abdominal cramps, constipation etc to the doctor. GIT SR 150mg Capsules contain itopride, a prokinetic medicine that helps food move more smoothly through the stomach and gut. It is used to relieve the symptoms of gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and functional (non-ulcer) dyspepsia - such as bloating, early fullness, upper-tummy discomfort, heartburn, nausea and belching. By gently speeding up stomach emptying, GIT SR eases that heavy, over-full feeling after meals and helps reduce reflux. The sustained-release (SR) capsule works steadily over time. This is a prescription-only medicine best suited to adults whose digestive symptoms have been assessed by a doctor.

Directions for Use

This medicine requires a prescription. Use only as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. Swallow one capsule whole with water - do not chew, crush or break it. It is usually taken on an empty stomach, about 30 minutes before meals, at the dose and frequency your doctor advises.
