Lan 30mg (lansoprazole) is a prescription proton pump inhibitor (PPI) that reduces the amount of acid produced by the stomach. It is used to treat acid-related conditions such as heartburn and acid reflux (GORD), stomach and duodenal ulcers, and to protect the stomach, and it forms part of treatment to clear Helicobacter pylori infection. By lowering stomach acid, Lan relieves symptoms and helps the gut lining heal, supporting adults with acid-related digestive problems.
Directions for Use
This is a prescription medicine. Take only as directed by your doctor. Lan 30mg is usually taken once daily in the morning, about 30-60 minutes before food, swallowed whole with water. Do not chew the capsule. If it is difficult to swallow, ask your pharmacist about opening it. Complete the course your doctor prescribes, and do not change the dose without advice.
This is a prescription medicine. Tell your doctor about liver problems or any 'alarm' symptoms. Unintended weight loss, difficulty swallowing, vomiting blood or black stools.
