Colospas Fibro Sachets are a dual-action treatment for irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), combining mebeverine and ispaghula husk in an orange-flavoured powder that dissolves in water. Mebeverine is an antispasmodic that relaxes the muscle in the gut wall to relieve painful cramps and spasms, while ispaghula husk is a natural bulk-forming fibre that helps regulate bowel movements. Easing both the diarrhoea and constipation that can occur with IBS. This pack of 10 sachets helps adults manage IBS symptoms such as abdominal pain, bloating and irregular bowels.

Directions for Use

Empty the contents of one sachet into a glass, stir into a generous glass (about 150ml) of water and drink promptly, followed by more water. Adults usually take one sachet twice daily (morning and evening) about 30 minutes before food, or as directed. Do not take just before lying down or going to bed. Always take with plenty of fluid.

Always take with enough water and do not take immediately before bed, as bulk-forming fibre can otherwise cause throat or gut blockage. Do not use if you have difficulty swallowing, a bowel obstruction or paralytic ileus (a non-working bowel). Seek urgent care for severe abdominal pain, vomiting, or no bowel movement with bloating. Avoid in pregnancy and breastfeeding unless advised. Tell your doctor about other medicines and take them at a different time, as fibre can affect absorption. Store in a cool, dry place.
