Bioflor 250mg Powder Sachets (10 pack) contain Saccharomyces boulardii, a well-researched probiotic yeast used to treat and prevent diarrhoea. It shortens acute infectious diarrhoea in children and adults, helps prevent antibiotic-associated diarrhoea when taken alongside antibiotic courses, and supports recovery of healthy gut flora after stomach upsets. Because it is a yeast, it is naturally resistant to antibiotics and works even during treatment. The pleasant-tasting sachet dissolves easily for children. A gut-health essential for families, especially during diarrhoea season and travel.

Directions for Use

Adults and children: typically one sachet once or twice daily, or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. Empty the sachet contents into a small amount of water, milk or soft food (not hot. Heat kills the live yeast), stir and take immediately. When taken with antibiotics, continue for several days after the antibiotic course ends. Maintain oral rehydration during diarrhoea, especially in children.

Do not use in critically ill or severely immunocompromised patients, or those with a central venous catheter, except on specialist advice. Rare yeast bloodstream infections have been reported in these groups. Seek medical care for diarrhoea with blood, high fever, signs of dehydration, or diarrhoea in infants. Probiotics support but do not replace rehydration and assessment. Do not mix with very hot or alcoholic drinks. Store below 25°C.
