Overview

Floranorm Sachets are a probiotic supplement that helps restore and maintain a healthy balance of friendly bacteria in the gut. The natural balance of gut flora can be disturbed by antibiotic treatment, infections or bouts of diarrhoea, leading to symptoms such as loose stools, bloating and digestive discomfort. Floranorm helps replenish beneficial bacteria to support normal digestion and bowel function. Supplied as convenient single-dose sachets, it is suitable for adults and children as advised, particularly during or after a course of antibiotics or an episode of diarrhoea.

Directions for Use

Empty the contents of one sachet into a glass of clean drinking water, milk or a soft food, stir, and take as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. Commonly once or twice daily. When used alongside antibiotics, separate the probiotic dose from the antibiotic by about 2 hours. Use for the period recommended by your healthcare provider. Do not mix into very hot drinks, as heat can reduce the activity of the probiotic.

Generally well tolerated; mild gas or bloating may occur initially and usually settles. Seek medical advice before use if you have a weakened immune system, a serious underlying illness, or a central venous catheter. If diarrhoea is severe, bloody, or lasts more than a couple of days, or is accompanied by high fever or signs of dehydration, see a healthcare provider promptly. Oral rehydration is also important. Tell your doctor if pregnant or breastfeeding. Store as directed on the pack (some probiotics require cool storage).
