Overview

Rovas 20mg Tablets contain rosuvastatin 20mg, a potent statin for lowering high cholesterol and reducing cardiovascular risk. Rosuvastatin powerfully reduces LDL ('bad') cholesterol and triglycerides while raising HDL, and stabilises artery plaque. The 20mg strength providing strong lowering for those at significant risk or needing substantial LDL reduction.

Directions for Use

This is a prescription medicine. Take only as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. Take one tablet once daily, at any consistent time of day, with or without food. Continue your heart-healthy diet and attend scheduled cholesterol and liver blood tests. Do not stop without medical advice. Cholesterol and risk rise again when statins are stopped.

Report unexplained muscle pain, tenderness or weakness promptly. Do not use during pregnancy or breastfeeding. People of South Asian descent may be prescribed lower doses. Limit alcohol. Tell your doctor about all medicines, especially certain HIV and antifungal medicines and other cholesterol treatments, and report symptoms of liver trouble (yellowing, dark urine, persistent nausea).
