Overview

Aprezo 30mg Tablets contain apremilast 30mg, an oral immune-modulating medicine (a PDE4 inhibitor) for moderate to severe plaque psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis. Apremilast calms the overactive immune signalling that drives the skin and joint inflammation of these conditions. An oral option that reduces plaques, joint pain and swelling, under specialist supervision.

Directions for Use

This is a prescription medicine. Take only as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. Take as prescribed, swallowed whole. Treatment begins with a gradual dose-increasing 'starter pack' over the first days to reduce side effects, then settles at the maintenance dose (commonly 30mg twice daily). Follow the titration schedule exactly. Continue consistently and attend reviews.

Commonly causes diarrhoea, nausea and headache, especially early on, usually improving with time. Report severe or persistent diarrhoea or vomiting. Report significant unintended weight loss, and any new or worsening depression or thoughts of self-harm. These need prompt review. Tell your doctor about kidney problems (doses are reduced) and all medicines, as some (certain epilepsy and other enzyme-inducing drugs) reduce its effect. Not recommended in pregnancy.
