Directions for Use
This is a prescription medicine started and supervised by a specialist. Take only as directed. Usually twice daily, at the same times each day, swallowed whole. Be consistent about taking it with or without food the same way each time, and always stay on the same brand unless your specialist changes it, as switching brands can alter blood levels. Do not stop suddenly. Attend all the blood tests (drug levels, kidney function and blood pressure) that are an essential part of treatment.
Ciclosporin lowers immunity, raising the risk of infections. Report fevers or signs of infection. It can affect the kidneys and raise blood pressure and potassium, so regular monitoring is essential. Avoid grapefruit and tell your doctor about all other medicines and herbal products (many serious interactions, including St John's Wort). Avoid live vaccines and limit strong sun exposure (skin cancer risk). Use in pregnancy or breastfeeding only under specialist advice. Store below 30°C in the original packaging. This product information is for general guidance only and does not replace professional medical advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider before starting any new medication or supplement. Keep all medicines out of reach of children.
