Overview

Augmentin 457 mg contains amoxicillin 400 mg and clavulanic acid 57 mg. It is an antibiotic that belongs in a group of medicines called '' Penicillin''. Augmentin is used to treat sinus infection,throat and chest infection, Skin infection, Urinary infection, Dental infections and other bacterial infections.

Directions for Use

Children 2-6 years (13kg-21kg): 5ml twice daily. 7-12 years (22kg-40kg): 10ml twice daily. Consult your doctor on the dosage as this may vary for different conditions.

Contraindicated in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to beta-lactams, e.g. Penicillins and cephalosporins. Can be used during pregnancy upon a physician approval for treatment.
