Ximeprox DS Suspension (cefpodoxime 80mg/50ml) is the double-strength paediatric suspension of cefpodoxime, a third-generation cephalosporin antibiotic for bacterial infections in children. Including ear infections, throat and chest infections, and urinary infections. The pleasant liquid form makes accurate, weight-based dosing easy for younger children, clearing susceptible bacterial infections effectively.

Directions for Use

This is a prescription medicine. Take only as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. Reconstitute as directed (or have the pharmacy prepare it) and shake well before each dose. Give the exact dose your doctor prescribes for your child's weight, using the measure provided, usually twice daily with food. Complete the full prescribed course even as your child improves. Stopping early risks the infection returning and resistance. Store reconstituted suspension as directed (often refrigerated) and discard after the stated period.
