Cipro-Denk 500mg Tablets (10 pack) contain ciprofloxacin, a broad-spectrum fluoroquinolone antibiotic made to German standards by Denk Pharma. It treats a wide range of bacterial infections. Including urinary tract and kidney infections, typhoid fever, certain gastrointestinal infections, prostatitis, and some respiratory, bone and skin infections. By killing the bacteria responsible. Reserved for infections where it is clearly indicated, ciprofloxacin remains an important prescription antibiotic . Complete the full prescribed course, even when you feel better, to prevent resistance.

Ciprofloxacin (as hydrochloride) 500mg per film-coated tablet.

Directions for Use

This is a prescription medicine. Take only as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. A common adult dose is 500mg twice daily, 12 hours apart, for the duration prescribed. Swallow whole with plenty of water. Do not take with milk, yoghurt, antacids, or iron/zinc/calcium supplements. Separate them by at least 2 hours, as they block absorption. Complete the full course.

Stop and seek care for tendon pain or swelling (rare tendon rupture risk, higher in over-60s and steroid users), tingling or weakness, or severe diarrhoea. Avoid in pregnancy, breastfeeding and growing children unless a doctor judges it essential. Increases sun sensitivity. Use sun protection. Caution with epilepsy, heart rhythm problems (QT) and diabetes medicines. Avoid excessive caffeine. May impair driving in some users.
