Overview

Enhancin 625mg Tablets (10 pack) contain co-amoxiclav (amoxicillin 500mg with clavulanic acid 125mg), a broad-spectrum penicillin antibiotic for bacterial infections that ordinary amoxicillin can't beat. Chest infections, sinusitis, ear infections, urinary, dental, skin and soft-tissue infections. The clavulanic acid blocks bacterial defences, extending amoxicillin's reach against resistant bacteria.

Directions for Use

This is a prescription medicine. Take only as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. Take one tablet typically every 8-12 hours as prescribed, ideally at the start of a meal to reduce stomach upset and improve absorption. Complete the FULL course even when you feel better. Stopping early breeds resistance and risks the infection returning. Space doses evenly. Confirm your regimen with your doctor.

Do NOT take if you are allergic to penicillins. Tell your doctor of any penicillin or other antibiotic allergy before use; serious allergic reactions (rash, facial swelling, breathing difficulty) need emergency care. Commonly causes diarrhoea. Report severe, watery or bloody diarrhoea (possible C. difficile). Can affect the liver. Report yellowing of the skin or eyes. Take with food. Tell your doctor about liver problems and all medicines.
