Ivermectol 3mg Tablet (single tablet) contains ivermectin, a prescription antiparasitic medicine used to treat infections such as strongyloidiasis (threadworm of the gut), onchocerciasis (river blindness) and, under medical direction, scabies and other parasitic conditions. Ivermectin paralyses and eliminates susceptible parasites, often clearing infection with carefully weight-calculated dosing. Manufactured for reliable single-dose therapy, it is dispensed strictly on prescription , with the dose tailored to body weight by the prescribing clinician.

Directions for Use

This is a prescription medicine. Take only as directed by your doctor. The dose is calculated by body weight, often as a single dose repeated after an interval if prescribed. Take on an empty stomach with a full glass of water, at least 1 hour before or 2 hours after food. Complete any repeat dosing exactly as scheduled, and attend follow-up to confirm the infection has cleared.

Not for children under 15kg, or in pregnancy and breastfeeding except on medical advice. Treatment of river blindness in areas with Loa loa co-infection requires specialist supervision. Serious reactions can occur. Dizziness, itching and rash may follow treatment as parasites die; seek care for severe rash, eye symptoms, confusion or breathing difficulty.
