Vedrox 125mg/5ml Dry Syrup (100ml) contains cefadroxil, a well-tolerated cephalosporin antibiotic in a pleasant paediatric suspension. Doctors prescribe it for children's throat and tonsil infections, skin and soft-tissue infections, and urinary tract infections, where its convenient once- or twice-daily dosing makes finishing the course far easier for parents. Directions for Use

This is a prescription medicine. Use only as directed by your doctor. Children's doses are calculated by weight (commonly 30mg/kg daily as one or two divided doses). Shake the reconstituted bottle well and measure with the spoon or cup provided. Give with or without food; with food if it upsets the stomach. Complete the full course even when your child seems better. Store the mixed syrup as directed on the label and discard after the stated period.

Do not use with a known cephalosporin allergy, and tell your doctor about any penicillin allergy. Cross-reaction is possible; stop and seek urgent care for rash, swelling or breathing difficulty. Mild diarrhoea and stomach upset can occur; persistent watery diarrhoea needs review. Caution in kidney impairment. Dose adjustment may be needed. Antibiotics treat bacterial, not viral, infections.
