Cefuroxime resists breakdown by many bacterial defence enzymes, giving it dependable coverage of the common bacteria behind everyday infections seen in clinics. The twice-daily tablet course suits adults and older children who can swallow tablets, helping clear stubborn infections when a doctor judges a cephalosporin appropriate.

Directions for Use

This is a prescription medicine. Take only as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. Typically one 500mg tablet twice daily for 5-10 days depending on the infection.
