Gyno-Mikozal 400mg Pessaries contain miconazole, an antifungal used to treat vaginal thrush (candidiasis). Inserted into the vagina, the pessary delivers the medicine directly where it is needed to clear the yeast infection and relieve itching, soreness, irritation and abnormal discharge. Directions for Use

For vaginal use. Wash your hands, then insert one pessary high into the vagina at night before bed, using the applicator if provided, usually for three consecutive nights or as directed. Lying down to insert helps. A panty liner can protect underwear. Complete the full course even if symptoms ease, and continue through your period if it starts (use pads, not tampons).

For vaginal use only. Tell your doctor if it is your first episode, if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or if you get frequent recurrences. Miconazole can damage latex condoms and diaphragms, making them unreliable. Do not rely on them during treatment. Stop use if severe irritation occurs.
