Icon 100mg Capsules (4 pack) contain itraconazole 100mg, a broad-spectrum oral antifungal for fungal infections. Including fungal nail and skin infections, oral and vaginal thrush, and certain deeper fungal infections. Itraconazole penetrates skin, nails and tissues to clear infections that topical treatment can't reach, prescribed and dosed according to the infection.

Directions for Use

This is a prescription medicine. Take only as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. Take as prescribed, swallowing capsules whole with a full meal. Food greatly improves absorption. Courses vary widely by infection (from a few days for thrush to intermittent 'pulse' courses for nail infections); complete exactly as directed even though nail improvement takes months as the nail grows out. Confirm your regimen with your doctor.

Not for use in heart failure or with certain heart conditions, and itraconazole interacts with MANY medicines (some dangerously). Including certain statins, sedatives, heart and other antifungal medicines; tell your pharmacist everything you take. Report breathlessness, swelling, unusual fatigue, or signs of liver trouble (dark urine, yellowing, persistent nausea). Liver function may be monitored. Avoid in pregnancy.
