Overview

Nilbact Cream is a topical antibiotic cream used to treat acne and bacterial skin infections. It contains nadifloxacin, a fluoroquinolone antibacterial that kills the bacteria (including the acne-causing bacteria on the skin) and helps reduce the spread of infection and associated inflammation. Applied directly to the affected skin, this 30g cream is used by teens and adults to manage acne and minor bacterial skin infections under medical guidance. Directions for Use

Use as directed by your doctor. Wash and dry the affected skin, then apply a thin layer to the affected area(s), usually twice daily (morning and evening). Wash your hands after applying (unless treating the hands). Avoid the eyes, mouth and broken skin, and do not cover with airtight dressings unless advised. Use for the full course advised, and apply sunscreen as your skin may be more sun-sensitive.

For external use only. Do not use if allergic to nadifloxacin or quinolone antibiotics. Avoid contact with the eyes, lips and inside the nose/mouth; if contact occurs, rinse with water. May cause mild burning, itching or redness at the application site. Use only for the area and duration advised to reduce the risk of antibiotic resistance. If breastfeeding, wash the area before feeding if near the breast. Discontinue if marked irritation occurs. Store in a cool, dry place.
